Text messaging privacy
Mobile information and consent are not marketing inventory.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, text-messaging opt-in data, or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of sharing described below exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional use.
If you choose to receive Rally-enabled text messages, message frequency varies based on your appointments and requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
1. Scope and our role
This policy applies to rallyfortrades.com, the Rally application, and communications that Rally sends or processes. Rally is operated by Interplex Ventures LLC.
Trade contractors use Rally to communicate with their own customers. When we process a caller’s or customer’s information for one of those businesses, that business controls the relationship and its privacy notice also applies. We process that information to provide Rally to the business.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with Rally, we may collect:
- Contact and account information: name, business name, email address, phone number, account role, and authentication or session information.
- Customer and service information: property address, requested service, urgency, notes, appointments, technician assignment, job activity, estimates, invoices, and customer communications.
- Call information: calling number, call timing, reason for calling, structured intake details, disposition, and a call summary. Recordings and transcripts are off by default and are retained by Rally only when the applicable business enables them with an approved disclosure, consent, access, retention, and deletion policy.
- Text-messaging information: mobile number, message purpose, consent source and version, consent and revocation timestamps, STOP, START, and HELP events, message status, and delivery or failure evidence.
- Technical information: device, browser, IP address, security events, request logs, and similar information needed to deliver and protect the service.
- Information you provide directly: the contents of an email, support request, pilot discussion, or other communication you send to us.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, maintain, and support Rally.
- Answer and summarize calls, apply approved business rules, book appointments, support human handoffs, and organize customer and job records.
- Send messages that a recipient requested or consented to receive and preserve evidence of consent, delivery, failure, and opt-out.
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud or misuse, troubleshoot problems, and audit consequential changes.
- Respond to questions, evaluate pilots, and communicate about our business relationship.
- Comply with law and enforce our agreements.
We do not use mobile information or text-messaging consent for third-party advertising.
4. When information is disclosed
We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:
- To the business you contacted: Rally gives the contractor using Rally the information needed to respond, schedule, dispatch, and perform the requested work.
- To service providers: infrastructure, authentication, communications, email, voice, mapping, security, and support vendors process information for us under contractual restrictions. Communications providers may include Twilio, Telnyx, Retell, or a successor selected for the applicable account.
- For legal or safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or respond to lawful process.
- In a business transaction: as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Text-messaging choices
Rally-supported text messages are limited to the purpose for which consent was recorded, such as an appointment confirmation, appointment reminder, requested photo-upload link, or consented missed-call follow-up. Simply calling a business does not, by itself, create marketing consent.
You can reply STOP to a message at any time. Rally records the opt-out and suppresses later messages associated with that sender. Reply HELP for help or email hello@rallyfortrades.com. Replying START may remove a carrier-level block, but the sender may still require new purpose-specific consent before sending another message.
See our text-messaging terms for program details.
6. Cookies and website activity
The public Rally marketing website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics. The Rally application uses essential session and security technologies needed to sign users in and protect their accounts. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the service, the business relationship, security, legal obligations, and documented customer instructions. Retention varies by record type.
Rally retains consent and opt-out evidence as needed to honor communication preferences and demonstrate compliance. Text-message destination and body data are encrypted while queued in Rally and removed from Rally’s queued payload after a provider accepts the message; bounded consent, routing, status, and delivery evidence may remain. Communications providers may retain information under their own policies.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including tenant-scoped access, role-aware permissions, signed provider callbacks, encryption for sensitive queued message data, audit records, and short-lived customer links. No system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, or object to certain uses, by emailing hello@rallyfortrades.com. We may need to verify your identity. When Rally handles information for a contractor, we may direct the request to that business or assist it in responding.
You can unsubscribe from non-essential email using the instructions in the message. Text-message choices are described above.
10. Children
Rally is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public website.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Rally changes. We will post the revised policy here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects text-messaging consent, we will obtain any additional consent required before applying it to future messages.
